Taylor Swift Reveals Timetable for ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, Music Video Release

Taylor Swift is revealing her master plan for the release of her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Swift, 34, turned to social media on Tuesday, April 16, to share a promotional video for her album, which will be released on Friday, April 19.

The video began in a '70s-inspired room, reminiscent of the Midnights era, with crumbled-up paper, a collection of records, and a clock set to 2:00.

The teaser then took spectators down an all-white hallway and into "The Tortured Poets Department," which featured two typewriters and mugs of coffee on empty desks.

The camera then zoomed in on the bulletin board on the wall, where April 19 was highlighted beside the words, "The Tortured Poets Department Release Day."

A message underneath said, "8 p.m. ET. Music video release?" And fourteen slashes. "The TTPD Timetable," Swift said in the Instagram description.

Swift's video is the second major clue she provided on Tuesday, following a library pop-up in Los Angeles earlier that day.

The pop artist collaborated with Spotify to construct an open-air library at The Grove for fans, which will be available until Thursday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
