Jontay Porter bet millions before NBA gambling investigation

Jontay Porter is a gambler, according to an Action Network investigation published Tuesday.

"firing all the time" as a VIP member of FanDuel Sportsbook, according to Action Network.

The report comes as the NBA investigates Porter for potential stat manipulation, as he was by far the most heavily bet Under player on DraftKings on two separate occasions,

the most recent being a March 20 game against the Kings in which he exited after three minutes.

Porter was a member of three separate G-League clubs at the time, but the wagers ended when the forward signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors, according to the article.

According to the Action Network, Porter did not bet on any professional or collegiate basketball during this time while betting on FanDuel.

This is an important element since Porter and other basketball players covered by the collective bargaining agreement can gamble on sports other than basketball.

However, The Post revealed on March 26 that Porter's day-trading X account, @taytrades11, boasted about winning a March Madness parlay in 2022.

He was not a member of a G-League affiliate team at the time, therefore in principle, he had not broken any laws.

However, considering the claims leveled against Porter, which NBA Commissioner Adam Silver stated would result in a lifetime suspension if verified, it seems possible that Porter is involved in gambling.
