"I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out April 19,"

she added with a grin on her face. "It is named The Tortured Poets Department. "I'm going to post the cover backstage."

The announcement surprised Swifties everywhere because, prior to the awards show, fans speculated that the "Anti-Hero" singer might be announcing the widely anticipated re-recorded version of her sixth album,

Reputation, based on a series of strange and intentional Easter eggs, including the fact that her website and online store went down for extended periods of time on Grammys Sunday.

To that purpose, here's all we know so far about The Tortured Poets Department — but keep checking back because this story will be updated as more information becomes available.
