BASIC CHIA SEED PUDDING

Ingredient

– 1/4 cup chia seed – 1 cup milk (you can use any type of milk, such as almond milk, coconut milk, or cow's milk) – 1-2 tablespoons sweetener of your choice (such as honey, maple syrup, agave nectar, or sugar)

Ingredient

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) – Optional toppings: fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, granola, or shredded coconut

Steps to Make It

In a mixing bowl or jar, combine the chia seeds, milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract (if using). Stir well to combine.

Steps to Make It

Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to allow the chia seeds to begin absorbing the liquid. Then, stir again to ensure that the chia seeds are evenly distributed.

Steps to Make It

Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate the chia seed pudding for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight. This will allow the chia seeds to fully absorb the liquid and thicken into a pudding-like consistency.

Steps to Make It

Once the pudding has set, give it a final stir to break up any clumps and adjust the sweetness to taste if necessary.

Steps to Make It

Serve the chia seed pudding cold, either on its own or topped with your favorite toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, granola, or shredded coconut.

Steps to Make It

Enjoy your homemade chia seed pudding as a healthy and delicious breakfast, snack, or dessert option!
