Angel Reese and Kim Mulkey had a beautiful moment after LSU star was drafted.

Angel Reese, an LSU women's basketball star, and her old college coach, Kim Mulkey,

hugged after the Chicago Sky selected the 6-foot-3 forward as the seventh overall pick in the WNBA Draft.

Mulkey was in Brooklyn to witness Reese be selected in a star-studded draft broadcast live on ESPN.

The Indiana Fever selected Iowa's Caitlin Clark with the first overall choice.

Mulkey embraced Reese as she walked off the platform after being drafted.

The two clutched onto each other for a time, taking in the moment that marked the end of Reese's two successful seasons in Baton Rouge.

Mulkey and Reese have had an emotional few weeks, as their bid for a second consecutive national championship ended with an Elite Eight loss to Iowa.

Mulkey fought back tears as she described a difficult season last week, while Reese became upset as she discussed her difficult year after losing to Iowa.
